Naomi Lee Burnette Feezell, 94 of Athens, TN passed away on Wednesday, April 24, 2024.

Naomi was born in McMinn County, TN to Luther and Marchie Massingale Onbey.

She graduated from Etowah High School and attended Clayton State College in Morrow GA.  Naomi enjoyed music and played guitar and bass in 5 bands of which 2 she was leader.  She was a member of Allen Memorial United Methodist Church.

Naomi was preceded in death by her first husband, Jack S. Burnette Sr.  and second husband, Horace E. Feezell; siblings, John Onbey, Bob Onbey, Marvin Onbey, Willie Mae Anderson, Nellie Murphy Wilson and Mary Burger; and her grandson, Troy Burnette.

She is survived by children, Jack (Marion) Burnette, Sherry (Pat) Henry, Susan (Jack) Haddock, and Steve (Patty) Burnette; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.

A family graveside service will be held in Georgia.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Allen Memorial UMC in Athens, 800 Decatur Pike, Athens, TN 37303.
