Nona P. Leight, 65, of Etowah, died Sunday, Aug. 4, 2013, at Life Care Center of Athens. A daughter of the late William and Nona Pauline Brinsfield, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles Royston Leight Jr. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Charlene and William Green of Cleveland; one son, Daniel Leight of Athens; one brother-in-law, Ralph Leight of Etowah; four grandchildren; and one nephew and his wife, Jeffery and Shannon Leight of McDonald. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in the South Chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home. A private graveside service will be held in the Veteran's National Cemetery in Chattanooga.
