Patrick Wayne Burchfield, 60, of Athens, TN passed away Sunday, March 15, 2015 at his residence. A native of Etowah, TN and member of Union Hill Baptist Church; he was employed at Athens Utility Board and a graduate of McMinn Central High School in 1972 and he was a son of the late William Virgil and Lemma Mae Burchfield. Pat sang with the gospel group, The Liner Family for several years.Preceded in death by his parents, listed above; brothers-in-law, Bill Calhoun and Jim Davenport.

Survivors include his wife, Cheri Burchfield; daughter and son-in-law, Ashley and Erik Miller; step-daughters and spouses, Audrey and Nick Johnson, Yvonne and Lynn Fountain, Candace and Shawn Kirk; brother and sister-in-law, Randy and Judy Burchfield; sisters and brother-in-law, Janice Calhoun, Marjorie and Thomas "Snooks" Beaty; twin sister, Patricia Davenport; 2 special friends and cousins, Michael Newberryand Eric Newberry.

Funeral service will be held 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 17, 2015 in the South Chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Pearman officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, prior to the service.

Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, March, 18, 2015 and go in procession to Burchfield Cemetery for the 11:00 a.m. Committal service.

Eric Johnson, Jason Burchfield, Billy Calhoun, Kristopher Calhoun, Rusty Parsons, Bill Foote and Kevin Calhoun will serve as pallbearers.
