Paul Walker, age 81 of Etowah, TN, passed away Friday, May 26, 2017 at UT Medical Center. He was a member and deacon for First Baptist Church of Etowah. Paul was an educator for 33 years and finished his career at the Tennessee College of Applied Technology as Director of Student Services. He was the son of the late Mark S. and Lena Mae Walker. Paul was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Kenneth Walker and Clarence Walker.

Survivors include wife of 59 years, Lorene Walker of Etowah, TN; daughter and son-in-law, Pamela and William Roy Aderhold of Etowah, TN; son, James Walker of Etowah, TN; Grandchildren, Julie and Josh Goodin of Englewood, TN and Jordan and Luke Wylie of Nolensville, TN; great-grandchildren, Jeb and Gunner Goodin; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Monday, May 29, 2017 in the south chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with Rev. Allan Lovelace officiating. Family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Monday prior to the service. Family and friends will assemble at 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at the funeral home and proceed to McMinn Memory Gardens for the 1:00 p.m. committal service.
