Paul "Nooner" Williams, 69 of Etowah, TN passed away on Friday, May 10, 2019 at his residence.

He was a son of the late Paul Williams, Jr. and Stella Blankenship Williams.

Paul loved life, loved people, and his friends as if they were brothers and sisters. Once you were a friend of Paul's it was a lifelong relationship that was not broken by distance. Paul made a special effort to keep in touch with his many friends and to get together with them whenever possible.

He is survived by wife Patricia Daugherty Williams, one son, Brandon Williams, daughter and son-in law Misty and Michael Baxter, grandson Chris Raper and wife Shelby, grandchildren, Kaitlyn Rogers, Chase Baxter, and Travis Baxter, nieces and nephews Becky and Dale Perkins, Randal and Michele Woods, Bruce McMinn, Jared Perkins and Becca Woods.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m to 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at North Etowah Baptist Church.

Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 15 ^th and proceed to Liberty Hill Church of Christ Cemetery for the 11:00 a.m. Graveside service. The Rev. Mark Wade and Dennis Bordwine will officiate. Mike Kellar will deliver the eulogy and Thomas Brown will sing Paul's favorite Song "Because He Lives".

Larry Stewart, Steve Stewart, Roger Farley, Chris Armstrong, Michael Baxter, and Chris Raper will serve as pallbearers.  Honorary pallbearers will be Johnny "Bone" Hamilton and George Hamilton.
