Pauline Cole Anderson Barncard, 89, joined The Lord in heaven Saturday, October 22, 2022 after a long illness, spanning over six years. Her daughter & a close friend were by her side.
Pauline had a long, lovely life. She was born in McMinn County to the late Amos & Essie Cole of Etowah. Pauline received her undergraduate in nursing from Tennessee Wesleyan & her Master of nursing from UCLA. She was a member of the Englewood United Methodist Church & a former member of the Eastern Star of Etowah. She was a world traveler, she loved to cook for her family & friends and loved to read. She, along with her sisters, had an admired fashion sense & loved their shopping trips together. She loved her family & she lived life to the fullest.
In addition to her parents mentioned above, she is preceded in death by her brothers, Leslie Cole, Willie "Bill" Cole, Steve Cole, Wayne Cole; sisters, Betty Cole, Imogene Brown, Cynthia Skipper, & Joann Weber Johnston; her first husband, R.C. Anderson, Sr.; son, Roy C. Anderson, Jr.; second husband, Ralph Barncard of Glendale, CA; nephew, Chuck Skipper; niece, Angela Weber.
She leaves behind her daughter, Nancy Anderson Dalton; grandson, Brian Anderson of Seattle, WA; granddaughter, Wendy Anderson of Tucson, AZ; niece, Kelly Skipper; nephew, Dirk Weber; along with many friends.
The family would like to send a special thanks to Dr. David Byrd, Paster Angela Akers & the hospice group Adoration.
A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at Green Hill Cemetery with Pastor Angelia Akers officiating.
