Peggy Deloris Allman, 65, of Etowah, died Sunday, Nov. 4, 2012, at her residence. A native of McMinn County, she was a member of East Etowah First Church of God. She had a great love for her grandchildren and was retired with 25 years of employment from Thomas & Betts. A daughter of the late Bill and Agnes Richardson, she was preceded in death by one sister, Rita Lou Raper. Survivors include her husband of 34 years, Junior Allman of Etowah; two daughters and one son-in-law, Kristi and Jason Greenway and Tammie Bard, all of Athens; one sister and brother-in-law, Geraldine and Robert Clark of Athens; three brothers, John Richardson, David Richardson and Wayne Richardson, all of Sweetwater; grandchildren, Brandon Lee and Melissa Evans of New Jersey, Joseph and Brooklyn Cavender, Tanya Evans, Shane Houston Greenway and Luke Greenway, all of Athens; one step-grandson, Chase Greenway of Athens; and many loving friends. Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at McMinn Memory Gardens with the Rev. Doyle Lloyd officiating. Burial will follow in McMinn Memory Gardens. There will be no formal visitation.
