Philip "Bruce" Haney, 41, of Etowah, TN, passed away Friday, October 7, 2022.

He was of the Baptist Faith. He enjoyed and was great at bowling, darts, and pool. He loved watching baseball and NASCAR. Bruce lived hard and loved harder. He was a helping hand to anyone he met. Most of all, he loved his family dearly.

Preceded in death by his father, Phil Haney; brother, Shannon Russell; sisters, Stacey Russell Strickland and Brandi Russell Rasnake; paternal grandparents, Bruce A. and Eliza Haney; maternal grandparents, Ernest and Betty Jones.

Survivors include his mother, Lollie Haney; sister, Mickey Jo Haney Hardin; nephews, Will Harmon, Gage Harmon, Zeb Hardin; and special niece and nephews, Leah Taylor, Kage McCroskey, Zaryn McCroskey, Preston McCroskey Torbett, Jaxton McCroskey; and a special host of friends and family.

Funeral service will be held at 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 11, 2022 in the chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home.

Family will receive friends from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday prior to the service.

Family and friends will assemble Wednesday, October 12th at the funeral home and proceed to Goodsprings Cemetery for the 11:00 a.m. committal service.
