Polly Irene Wallin, 91, of Etowah, TN, passed away Wednesday, August 15, 2012, at McMinn Memorial Nursing Home. A native of Polk Co. and a long time resident of Etowah, employed for many years at Woods Memorial Hospital. Preceded in death by her husband, Hugh Edward Wallin; daughter, Norma "Jeannie" Robertson; and siblings, Fred Rose, Odean Rose, Ethel Hogue and Alva Leist. Survivors include Son, Teddy Clifton Wallin of Brentwood, TN; Granddaughters, Heather Blair Wallin of Nashville, TN and Amber Sewell; Great-grandsons, Greyson and Preston Sewell both of Chattanooga; son-in-law, Thane Robertson of Etowah; Siblings, Helen Dalton of Sweetwater, TN, Billie Green of Etowah, Barbara Carver and Larry Rose both of Akron, OH. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, August 17, 2012 in the South Chapel, of Bordwine Funeral Home. Interment to follow service at Campground Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., Friday, August 9, 2012, in the South Chapel.
