Preston "Keith" Cook, 65, of Englewood, Tennessee, passed away on Tuesday, October 13, 2026 at home with his son, sister and dear friend by his side. 

He was born on January 24, 1961, at Foree Hospital in Athens, Tennessee. Keith loved the outdoors. He spent his time fishing, hunting, playing pool, and woodworking. He was best known for his fly tying, and his handmade flies have found their way to rivers across the country.

He is survived by his son, Preston Ryan Cook; his sister and brother-in-law, Lisa and Frank Kemp; his brothers, Mark Cook and Stephen Cook; his nephews, Tyler Kemp, Jerred Sullivan, Hunter Cook, and Bryson Manwill; his niece, Amberleigh Cook; his dear friend, Deb Whitlock; and lifelong friends, Steve Bible and Gary Harris.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Buck and Dixie Cook; and his grandparents, Shorty and Geneva Cook and Paul and Dollie Mae Cook.

A burial will be held on January 24th 2027 at 1:00 P.M. at Sunrise Cemetery in Englewood, TN.
