Ray "Eddie" Cox, 79, of Athens, TN passed away Monday, August 18, 2025.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Harold R. "Creepy" and Margie Cox; brothers, Steve Cox, Robbie Cox; sister, Cathy Landers.

He is survived by his wife, Debra Cox; daughters and sons-in-law; Tracy and Mark Proctor, Josalyn and Brian Rogers; grandchildren, Joshua and Zeta Proctor, Ethan and Griffin Rogers; brothers and sisters-in-law, Rodney and Margaret Cox, Mark and Kim Cox; sister and brother-in-law, Rebecca "Wheatie" and Johnny Morgan; mother-in-law, Marjorie Gray; sister-in-law, Pam Davis; brother-in-law, Steve Gray and wife, Susie; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, August 21, 2025 in the chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with Dr. Rev. Katie Morgan-Harper officiating.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Thursday prior to the service.
