Raymond Wallace "Wally" Holcombe, 71, a resident of Etowah for the past 35 years, died
Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2011, at Etowah Health Care Center.He was of the Christian faith and was a son of the late Raymond Jefferson and Telmer Holcombe. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Robin Bonita Eddington. Survivors include his wife, Louise Holcombe of Etowah; one son, David Wallace Holcombe of Etowah; one sister and brother-in-law, Charlotte and Ron Preston of Etowah; one granddaughter, Stephaney Galyon of Athens; one grandson, Eli Eddington of Maryville; two nephews and one spouse, Brian Preston of Etowah, and Michael and April Preston of Athens. Memorial services will be 1 p.m. Monday at Eleazer Cemetery in Madisonville.
