Mrs. Raymond "Polly" McConkey, 87, of Englewood, TN passed away Saturday, October 15, 2011 at her residence.Mrs. McConkey was co-owner of Allied Hosiery Mill in Englewood, TN and a native and lifelong resident of McMinn County.Preceded in death by her husband, Raymond McConkey; parents, Jim and Tina Cochran; 2 brothers, R. C. Cochran and James Cochran; Mother and Father-in-law, Dewey and Geneva McConkey.Survivors include, 1 sister, Ida Lee Martin of Englewood, TN; 2 brothers and sisters-in-law, Frank and Clara Cochran of Englewood, TN, and Claude and Brenda Cochran of Englewood, TN; Several nieces and nephews.Graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 18, 2011, at McMinn Memory Gardens with Minister David Cathy officiating. Family will receive friends 6-8 Monday, October 17, 2011 in the South Chapel, of Bordwine Funeral Home.
