Reba Mae Perrine, 90 of Tellico Plains and former Etowah resident, died Sunday morning, Feb. 14, 2010 at her son Dennis' residence in Tellico Plains. A native of Monroe County and resident of McMinn County for most of her life, she was a daughter of the late Rev. John Ernest and Annis Daugherty Vaughn. She was of the Baptist faith; was a member of the Eastern Star; and was a former volunteer with the Woods Memorial Hospital Auxiliary. She was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Worth Perrine; two sisters, Grace Ledford Harris and Myrtle Glynn Morgan; and one daughter, Wilma Perrine. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Glenn Worth Perrine and wife R. Ann Middleton Perrine of Englewood, and Dennis Perrine and wife Debbie Atkins Perrine of Tellico Plains; grandchildren, Leigh Kendrick Perrine of Chattanooga and fiancé Benjamin Edward Michaels of Cleveland; Denny Perrine and wife Julie of Tellico Plains; and Dustin Perrine of Tellico Plains; several nieces and nephews; and special friend/caregiver, JoAnn Johnson. Funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 17, 2010 in the North Chapel with the Rev. James Atkins officiating. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday prior to the service. Family and friends will assemble at Shady Grove Cemetery at 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 18th for the committal service.
