Reva Sue Aldridge Juhl-Wasdin, 83, of Englewood, died Monday, November 25, 2013 at her residence.A native of McMinn County and a resident of Green Cove Springs, FL for the past 39 years. She was a daughter of the late Zeb Vance and Ada McConkey Aldridge.
She will join her late husband, Thomas Wasdin who passed away in June 2013, and former husband, Jean Juhl; brothers, Raymond and Ray Aldridge; sisters, Myrtle Hipps, Ethel Tillman and Lena Dixon; and son-in-law, Lawrence Hohnhorst.
Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, J.R. and Dee Richards of Burkley Springs, WV, Robert and Joyce Smith of Eaton, GA; daughters and son-in-law, Sheila Hohnhorst of Warrenton, GA, Dianne and Allen Cook of Englewood; sisters, Bunnie Burger and Evelyn Rodgers both of Etowah; grandchildren, Josh and Felisha Bowers, Tiffany Bowers and Fiancé, Brad Emery, Jessica Freeman, Ken Richards, Bobby Sturkey, Benjie Sturkey, Roger and Rebecca Sturkey; great-grandchildren, Aubry Kugler and Kade Bowers who knew her as "Old Mamaw Sue from Florida"; several other great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; adopted daughters, Shirley Thomas and Carla Metlock. Sue had many other special friends that helped with her walk battling cancer. Special thanks to Caris Hospice and Apogee Physicians Group.
Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Friday, November 29, 2013 in the South Chapel, of Bordwine Funeral Home with Minister Pat Wilson officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday prior to the service.
Family and friends will assemble Saturday, November 30th at McMinn Memory Gardens for the 11:00 a.m., committal.
Allen Cook, Josh Bowers, Brad Emery, Dan Cook, Dakota Cook and Henry Cook will serve as pallbearers.
