Rhonda Reed, of Englewood, TN passed away peacefully at home on April 16, 2026 after a year long battle with cancer. Born on September 25, 1965 in Etowah, TN, Rhonda lived a life marked by kindness, dedication, and unwavering love for her family and community.

Rhonda’s career was defined by her remarkable commitment to patient care. For 36 years, she worked alongside Dr. Charles Cox, where she was beloved for her friendly demeanor and genuine compassion. Known for her outgoing nature, she never met a stranger and always greeted everyone with a warm and welcoming smile. Her passion for helping others extended beyond her profession and touched all who knew her. She was also a cherished member of Englewood First Church of God.

Her love of travel provided many joyful moments and adventures, and she embraced these experiences with the same enthusiasm and warmth that she brought to every aspect of her life.

Rhonda was a wonderful mother and wife, deeply proud of her two sons, Nicholas and Nathan Reed, and all they have achieved. She is lovingly remembered by her husband, Larry Reed; sons, Nicholas and Nathan Reed; her mother, Barbara DeBord; her brothers and sister-in-law, Ricky DeBord; Tommy and Carlessa DeBord; her sister and brother-in-law, Becky and John Cole; her father- and mother-in-law, Cecil and Barbara Reed; her sister-in-law and husband, Sherri and Mike Brock; as well as several nieces and nephews. Their presence provided Rhonda with immense joy and purpose throughout her life.

She was preceded in death by her father, Ira DeBord; her grandparents, Will and Mae DeBord, and Tom and Frances Hopson; and her sister-in-law, Patti DeBord—all of whom she honored through their lasting influence on her values and character.

Chandler Rollo, Tommy DeBord, John Cole, Mike Brock, Jackie Powers and Corey Clark will serve as pallbearers. 

Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Monday, April 20, 2026 at Englewood First Church of God with Pastor Chris Alexander officiating. 

The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Monday prior to the service at the church. 

Family and friends will assemble at Bordwine Funeral Home Tuesday, April 21st at 10:00 a.m. and go in procession to Sunrise Cemetery for the 11:00 a.m. committal service.
