Ribe Burns age 80 of the New Zion community went home to be with the Lord on January 20, 2018 at his residence. Ribe is preceded in death by his parents: Frank and Jewel Burns; son: Tim Burns; brother: Walter Burns; first wife: Alice Marie Smith Burns.

Survivors include wife: Alice Riden Burns; son and daughter-in-law: Eric and Margaret Burns; sisters: Agnes Eaton, Edda Mae Jack, Betty Buchanan; brother: Loyd Burns; 3 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Monday, January 22, 2018 at New Zion Cemetery with James Buchanan officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Monday in the South Chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home.
