Richard Lee Stroberg, 80, of Etowah, passed away Thursday, May 31, 2012, at McMinn Memorial Nursing Home. A native of Greeley, Colorado, and lived in McMinn County since 2003. He was a retired double Military Veteran of the Army and Air Force serving in the Korean War. Preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Estella Stroberg. Survivors include his ex-wife, Ruby Stroberg of Englewood; several cousins; and his extended family, McMinn Memorial Nursing Home and the Rehab Center. Graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 2, 2012 at Mars Hill Cemetery with Pastor Robert Sneed officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00 to 10:45 a.m. Saturday, prior to the service at the funeral home.
