Ricky McNelley, 71, of Benton, TN passed away at his home on Monday, October 2, 2023.

He is the son of Nina Ruth McNelley and the late Fred J. McNelley.

Ricky was a devoted family man, he loved his grandchildren, nieces and nephew more than anything. He cared more about taking care of others than himself. He loved the mountains, spending time on the lake and telling stories.

Preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis McNelley; son, Chase McNelley; father, Fred J. McNelley; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Hoyt and Alberta Williams.

Survivors include his mother, Nina Ruth McNelley; son, Dustin McNelley; grandchildren, Chase and Carly McNelley; brothers, Doug and Larry McNelley; niece, Casey Reynolds and spouse, Shane; nephew, Connor Reynolds; great-nieces, Ava and Jana Reynolds, Kamden and Kendall Williams.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 6, 2023 in Brock Cemetery, Benton, TN with Rev. Pete Morgan officiating.

No formal visitation will be held.
