Robert Wayne Smith, 66, of Englewood, TN passed away Tuesday, July 1, 2025.

Robert attended Zion Hill Baptist Church. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed doing lawn maintenance. Robert never met a stranger.

He is preceded in death by his father and step-mother, Floyd T. and Esther Smith; mother and stepfather, Reva Sue and Thomas Wasdin; sister, Shelia Hohnhorst; brothers-in-law, Allen Cook and Mark Smith.

Survivors include his wife, Joyce Anne Smith; daughter and son-in-law, Jessica Freeman Collins and David; granddaughter, Rose Freeman; grandson, Joseph Long; brothers and sisters-in-law, Royce and Janice Richards, Milton and Rita Smith, Gary and Karen Rucker; sisters, Dianne Cook and Terry Hager; uncle and aunt, Gattis and Reba Smith; special friends, David Henry Rowland, Danny Yarber and Gary Dillard; several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, July 6, 2025, in the chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., Sunday prior to the service.
