Ronnie "Red Eye" Cain, 69, of Etowah, passed away, Saturday, July 27, 2013, at Woods Memorial Hospital in Etowah, TN.He was a native of Monroe Co., and a son of the late Marvin and Mary Sue Cain. He is preceded in death by, his parent, listed above and one son, Tim Cain. Ronnie enjoyed fishing, gardening, and watching sports. He was a well known concrete finisher and active member of the Am Vets Post 100.Survivors include sons, Greg Cain of Etowah, TN and Jeff Cain of Cleveland, TN; former wife and the mother of his children, Gail Cain of Etowah, TN; brother and sister-in-law, Alford and Kathleen Cain of Tellico Plains, TN; sisters and brothers-in-law, Jeanette and Charlie Yates of Benton, TN, Rita Cain Wallen Branum of Benton, TN, and Loretta and David Merrell of Reliance, TN; granddaughters, Courtney Cain of Etowah, TN and Tara Cain of AL; great-grandchildren, Luis Cain and Paloma Cain; and several nieces and nephews.Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Monday, July 29, 2013 in the South Chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with Chaplain, "Col." Jimmy R. Williams and Rev. Russell Jones officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Monday, prior to the service. Family and friends will assemble 9:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at the funeral home and proceed to Brown Hill Cemetery for the 10:00 a.m., committal service.
