Rudolph "Dudo" Brown, 92, of Etowah, TN went home to be with the Lord on Monday, October 23, 2017. He was a crane operator at Bowater for 36 years; and he served in the US Army in WWII and in the Korean War.
Preceded in death by Sigrid Brown, his first wife of 38 years; his second wife, Grace Ann Brown of 29 years.
Survivors include his daughters and sons-in-law, Nancy and Ray Shugart of Etowah, Leslie and Trini Robinson of Dunlap, Monica and Greg Eiche of Delano, TN; sisters, Mae and Thelma; grandchildren, Cindy Lake of Gadsden, AL, Brian Shugart of Knoxville, TN, Jason Smith of Valdosta, GA; 6 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral Service will be held at 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 25, 2017 in the South Chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with Bro. Wilfred Wright officiating. The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Wednesday prior to the service. Family and friends will assemble Thursday at McMinn Memory Gardens for the 11:00 a.m. committal service with Military Honors.
