Ruth White Graves, 86, of Englewood, went to her Heavenly home onMonday April 18, 2011. Born July 10, 1924, she was a daughter of the late John Sweeney and Arkie Louisa White and was preceded in death by her husband, Hoyt Graves; two brothers, Troy and Ray White; two sisters, Elsie Ledford and Lura Burrell; two grandchildren, Jimmy Goforth and Erica Guettner; and one great-granddaughter, IsabellaTonachio. Survivors include her children and their spouses, Georgia Mae and Fate Martin, Mary Sue and Gene Casteel, Junie and Arnold Aldridge, Geneva and Edward Graham, Wayne and Tina Graves and Connie Ingram; 18 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Reba Huskey; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Vernie and Della White and Junior and Sally White; several nieces and nephews; and special friends, Georgia and Steve Ingram.Funeral services will be 8 p.m. Wednesday in the South Chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with the Rev. Jimmy Lewis officiating. Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home at 10 a.m. Thursday and will proceed to Sunrise Cemetery for the 11 a.m. committal service. Pallbearers will be Eddie Graham, Steve Graham, Greg Graham, Larry Goforth, Hoyt Goforth, Steven Ingram, Steve Ingram and Cole Wheeler. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
