Ruth Rogers Studdard, 83, of Delano, died Monday, May 10, 2010 at Woods Memorial Hospital. A native and lifelong resident of Polk County, she was a daughter of the late Tom and Ida Seay Rogers. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church, and was preceded in death by two brothers, Winston Rogers and Ralph Rogers; and two sisters, Juanita Coe and Marie Burris. Survivors include one son, Mike Studdard of Delano; one grandchild, Jesse Studdard; two great-grandchildren, HayLee Studdard and Jayleen Studdard; one sister and brother-in-law, Hazel and Ray Stone of Delano; one brother, Leonard Rogers of Benton; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 12, 2010 in the South Chapel with the Rev. Steve Ross officiating. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. Wednesday prior to the service.

Family and friends will assemble at Delano Cemetery at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 13th for the committal service. Shane Burris, Chris Burris, Skip Rogers, Sammy Rogers, Eddie Culberson and Michael Martin will serve as pallbearers.
