Ruth Derrick Torbett, 90, of Englewood TN, went to her heavenly home, Friday, June 28, 2024.

Ruth enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, she will be greatly missed. She lived a full life of serving and taking care of her loved ones. Ruth spent a lot of time at her table studying her bible and spreading Gods word.  Now she is rejoicing in heaven with her family that's gone on before her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Greely Torbett; parents, Charlie and Vennie Derrick; siblings, Donnie Mae Derrick, Richard Derrick, Robert Lee Derrick, Lucille Derrick Zimmerman, Curtis Derrick and Ori Claude Derrick, Mary Sue Derrick Gibson.

Survivors include her brother E.L. Derrick; grandson, Derrick Akins, who will forever love, treasure and honor the memories of his granny; several nieces, nephews as well as great nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00a.m., Tuesday July 2, 2024, at Mars Hill Cemetery with Rev. David Watson officiating.
