Samuel Kaye Housley, 71, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, May 6, 2020.

Sam was preceded in death by his parents, Otha and Italene Housley.

He is survived by his wife, Carol; his daughters and sons-in-law, Angie and Eric Rolle, Brittney and Clint Davidson, Mandi Housley; his son, Tony Housley; 9 grandchildren, Daniel, Ashley, Dustin, David, Ben, Jeremiah, Josiah, Jonah and Atlas; 5 great-grandchildren.

Sam was an active member of Englewood Christian Church where he was part of the choir. He retired from Thomas & Betts where he was employed as an electrician. He loved to play guitar and sing and could usually be found with a guitar in his hand during any spare time. He was a big fan of Tennessee Volunteer football and rarely missed watching a game.

Sam was a humble, kind and generous man who enjoyed helping others. He will be greatly missed by family and friends.

Celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 9, 2020 at Englewood Christian Church. Visitation will be held from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. prior to the service.
