Sandra Kay Land, 64, of Englewood, died Monday, April 5, 2010, at Woods Memorial Hospital. A native of Chicago, Ill., and resident of McMinn County for 37 years, she was a daughter of the late James H. and Betty Taylor. She was of the Methodist faith; and was a life member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary. She was employed by Athens Utilities Board as a dispatcher. Survivors include her husband, James Land of Englewood; two sons and daughters-in-law, Rex and Dottie Morrow, and Patrick and Cathy Morrow, all of Etowah; two stepchildren, Paula Land and J.J. Land, both of Englewood; and five grandchildren, Coty, Garrett, Kayla, Tyler and Jennifer Morrow. Funeral service will be held at 8 p.m. Thursday, April 8, 2010 in the South Chapel with Pastor Cardin officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday prior to the service.

Family and friends will assemble at McMinn Memory Gardens at 10 a.m. Friday, April 9th for the committal service.
