Sandra "Joan" Poteet, 70, of Delano, TN passed away Wednesday, September 7, 2022.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William F. Poteet and Eva Grace Kirkland Poteet.

Survivors include her sister, Patsy Poteet; brother, Mick Poteet; nephews, Will and Waylon Poteet; nieces Darkis Poteet Burton, Tessa Smith Poteet; other family members, Keeira, Shyla, Riley Grace, Evelynn, Kimora, Jojo, Savannah, Cassidy, Caleb and Haley.

She retired from Athens Products. She was a member of Delano Baptist Church where she sang in the Delano choir for many years; she was the lead singer of The Poteet's Trio.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, September 9, 2022 at Delano Baptist Church with Rev. Bruce Yates officiating.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 to 1:00 p.m., Friday prior to the service at the church.

Interment will follow the service in Delano Cemetery.
