Sheila Jo Honeycutt, 61 of Etowah formerly of Ringgold, GA passed away Monday, May 16, 2016 at her residence. She was a daughter of Alvin Clayton and the late JoAnn Nelms and a member of Maple Springs Baptist Church.

Preceded in death by her son, Phillip DeWayne Gamblin; mother, JoAnn Nelms; and brother, Rev. John C. Clayton.

Sheila was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and best friend she will be missed by all who knew her.

Survivors include her husband, Danny Honeycutt of Etowah; daughters and sons-in-law, Angela M. and Jeff Heisler of Ringgold, GA, Stacie D. and David Figueroa of Ringgold, GA; sisters, Katy Clayton of Ringgold, GA, Beverly Worley of Ringgold, GA and Patricia Vaughn of Redbank; brother, Douglas Clayton of Varnell, GA; 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, May 19, 2016 in the South Chapel of Bordwine funeral Home with Rev. Vernon Webb officiating. Family will receive friends from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. Thursday prior to the service. Interment will follow the service to Maple Springs Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
