Sonya Daugherty Williams, 69, of Englewood, TN passed away Sunday, November 19, 2023 at Erlanger Hospital.

Preceded in death by her mother, Mary Ellen Daugherty; and sister, Donna Foley.

She was a 1972 graduate of McMinn Central High School.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, husband of 49 years, W. Steve Williams; two daughters, Lisa Roberts and Kristina Birchfield; three grandchildren, Christopher Williams, Chasity Mangham and Matthew Burchfield; one great-grandchild, Paisley Martin; siblings, Randy Daugherty and wife, Sharon, Jimmy Daugherty and wife, Stacy, and Lillian Cook.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, November 24, 2023 in the chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with Pastor Chris Alexander officiating.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., Friday prior to the service.

Interment will follow the service in McMinn Memory Gardens.
