Stephen Wayne Lenior Jr., 25, of Etowah, passed away, Thursday, November 3, 2011, at the VA Medical Center in Nashville, TN. A native of McMinn County, he was a son of Steve Lenior and Sherry Lenior. He was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church and was retired from the US Army. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Elmer and Wanda Derrick.Survivors include his wife, Heather Lenior of Etowah, TN; two children, Adrian and Jeremiah Lenior of Etowah, TN; parents, Steve Lenior of Sweetwater, TN and Sherry Lenior of Etowah, TN; one sister, Shyla Lenior of Etowah, TN; two brothers, Tobin Jackson of Etowah, TN and Avery Bradley of Sweetwater, TN; grandmother, Ethel Mae McCowan; two grandmothers-in-law, Wendy Riden and Nellie Brown; one sister-in-law, Shannon Brown; two brothers-in-law, Jeremy Dixon and Jacob Brown; and special nieces and nephews, Shae, Brianna, Jazmyn and Tobin Jackson II.Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 8, 2011 in the chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with the Minister Clifton Fox, Mark Hensley and Joshua Duncan officiating. Burial will follow at Green Hill Cemetery with Military Honors.The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, November 7, 2011 at the funeral home.
