Steve E. Rayburn, 74 of Etowah, TN went to be with the Lord late Friday evening, June 26, 2020.

A native and lifelong resident of McMinn County, he was a son of the late Lee and Mickey Rayburn.

He was a charter member and deacon of Grace Baptist Church; and a member of Etowah Masonic Lodge.

He was a loving husband, dad, grandpa and friend to all. He was a proud grandpa and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

He worked at Bowater, retiring in 2008; he then enjoyed traveling with Bowater travel club;

Preceded in death by ten brothers and sisters, CJ, Bill, Lucille, Martha, Mary, Elsie, Irene, Shirley, Anne and Miza.

Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Glenda Lewis Rayburn; one son and daughter-in-law, Russ and Melissa Rayburn; grandchildren, the joy of his earthly life, Tyler, Eli, Maddie, Zane and Annie Rayburn, Ethan and Brandon Evans, Haleigh and Jeremy Hollifield of Etowah, Chasity and Doug Kyle of Knoxville; eight great-grandchildren, Evan, Watson, Emory Hollifield, Reagan, Ramsey, Roman, Rella, Rynn Kyle; one brother and sister-in-law, George and Olliemae Rayburn; special and lifelong friends, Charlie and JoAnna England.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 30 ^th at Green Hill Cemetery with the Pastor David Anziano officiating.

Russ and Tyler Rayburn, Ethan and Brandon Evans, Travis England and Randy Rayburn will serve as pallbearers.
