Steven James Rogers, 65 of Athens passed away Sunday, July 31, 2016 at his residence. He was a son of the late James Athel and Norma Creasman Rogers. He was a member of Eastanallee Baptist Church and retired from Collins and Akman. Preceded in death by his parents; and 1 brother, Danny Roy Rogers.

Survivors include his son, Chris Rogers of Lenoir City, TN; brother, Gary Rogers of Etowah, TN; and aunt, Eleanora Rogers of Baltimore, MD.

Graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at Goodsprings Cemetery with Rev. Joe Hatcher officiating. No formal visitation will be held.
