Sue McAllister, of Etowah, passed away Wednesday, June 22, 2011, at Woods Memorial Hospital. A daughter of the late James and Stella Eaves, she attended Church of Christ of Etowah. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dane McAllister; parents, listed above; 4 brothers; infant twins, Ronald and Donald McAllister. Survivors include 1 son and daughter-in-law, Ron and Connie McAllister of Etowah; 2 daughters and sons-in-law, Marlene and Randy Chastain of Rossville, GA and Vickie and Bruce Couturier of Etowah, TN; Adopted son, Daniel Jones of Etowah, TN; 7 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Edna Eaves. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, June 24, 2011 at Bordwine Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 12 to 2 p.m. Friday, prior to the service. Family and friends will proceed to Green Hill Cemetery, for the committal service. Pallbearers will be grandsons-in-law and 2 sons-in-law, Randy, Bruce, Jonathan, Shane, Derrick and Josh.
