Syble Wilson Evans, 80, of Etowah, passed away Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at McMinn Memorial Nursing Home. She was the daughter of the late Clyde and Weltha Wilson. Preceded in death by her parents; son, Lynn Evans; and sister Tunnis Terrell.

Survivors include her daughters and son in-law, Debbie and Gene Smith, Donna Bledsoe and special friend, David Bunch; grandsons and spouse, Tim Smith, David and Patty Smith; granddaughters and spouses, Gerri Le and Jeff Cantrell, Jessica and Barrett Hancock, Gena and Michael Shirk, and Syble Grace Hickman; 11 great-grandchildren; 5 special nieces and nephews. Syble loved gardening and yard sales and she was loved by all who knew her. The family would like to thank the staff of McMinn Memorial Nursing Home for their love and compassion.

A Memorial Graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, January 24, 2015 at Cog Hill Cemetery.
