She was a native and lifelong resident of McMinn County. She attended McMinn County Church of God, and was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard Rieser.

Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Melody and Brian Rodgers of Riceville and Jessica and Jeremy Farmer of Cleveland; her parents, Charles and Joyce Greene of Madisonville; one grandchild, Mason Farmer; one sister and brother-in-law, Melissa and Donald Thompson of Decatur; two brothers, Charles Ray Greene of Riceville and Jeffrey Scott of Madisonville; and several aunts and uncles.

Funeral service will be held at 8 p.m. Tuesday, November 23, 2010 in the South Chapel with Pastor Floyd Duncan officiating.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home prior to the service.
