Teddie Jean Wilson, 73, of Athens, died Wednesday, March 13, 2013, at Woods Memorial Hospital. A native of Etowah, she was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Chapter 96, of Etowah and was retired from Robinson Enterprises. A daughter of the late Henry Gilbert Buckner and Louise Buckner Heath, she enjoyed making beautiful creations, cooking and baking for others. She was preceded in death by one sister, Bennie Jo Buckner Newman.Survivors include her former husband, Johnny Arnold Wilson of Athens; one son and daughter-in-law, Christopher Lee and Blanche Elaine Wilson of Alcoa; one daughter, Melanie Charleen Wilson Wallace of Alcoa; grandchildren and their spouses, Stefan James and Nicole Louise Wilson, Kelci Elyse and Dennis Patrick O'Keefe III, Austin Wallace and Justin Wallace; great-grandchildren, Emory Elaine O'Keefe and Avalon Elaine Wilson; one brother, Richard Heath of Ohio; one sister, Deanna Lezotte of Michigan; special friends, Rosemary Sledge and Bonnie Sledge; and a special niece, Liz Cottriel. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday in the South Chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with Pastor Eddie Goines officiating. Burial will follow in McMinn Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
