Terry Rose Sr. "Mr. Clean", 67, of Etowah, passed away on June 10th, 2022, surrounded by his loved ones.
He was born December 20th, 1954 in Etowah, TN. He moved to Akron, Ohio as a child where he attended school. He moved back to Tennessee and met and married Marcia Webb Rose on May 12, 1973. Together they raised three children and have many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Terry started his career as a truck driver at Curtis Cole before eventually owning his own trucks. His colleagues called him by his handle "Plum Crazy" and later changed it to "Mr. Clean". He continued his career and retired in 2019. He enjoyed playing the drums, working on cars, bird watching and spending time with his family.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Odean & Virginia Rose and his sister, Martina Ann Rose.
Terry is survived by his wife of 49 years, Marcia Rose; his siblings, Gary (Cleda) Rose and Kathy (Randy) Baker; his children, Terry (Tammie) Rose, James (Melody) Rose, and Tonya (Mitch) Santiago; his grandchildren, Catie Edwards, Samm (Johnny) Smith, Isaac Burchfield, Gage Locke, Kris Rose, Caleb Rose, Madison Rose, Devon Santiago, Macy Rose, Damon Santiago, Alyssa Rose, and Chloe Rose; his great grandchildren, Landon Edwards, Lane Jones, and Jakari & Emerson Smith.
Gage Locke, Caleb Rose, Isaac Burchfield, Cody Keller, Damon Santiago, and Devon Santiago will serve as pallbearers. Johnny Smith, Landon Edwards, and Lane Jones will serve as honorary pallbearers.
Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 14, 2022, in the chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with his son, Terry Rose Jr. officiating.
Family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Tuesday prior to the service.
Family and friends will assemble at 9:30 a.m., Wednesday, June 15 th at the funeral home and proceed to Morgan Family Cemetery for the 11:00 a.m. committal service.
