Thomas Luther Dunn, 84, of Reliance, TN, passed away, Monday, April 8, 2013 at his residence.He was a native of Polk County and a son of the late John and Ella Dunn. Retired from the US Forestry Service and a Master Mason of Ocoee Lodge 212. Survived by, Wife of 59 years, Mamie Lou Dunn of Reliance; 1 daughter and son-in-law, Marcella and Ron True of Lake Wales, FL; 1 son and daughter-in-law, Johnny and Candy Dunn of Greasy Creek; Grandchildren and spouses, Kevin and Joy Bates of Cleveland, Alan and Becky Bates of Benton, Grant Dunn of Greasy Creek, Josh Dunn and Brittany Lynn of Greasy Creek, and Jeremy Bates of Dayton, Nevada; Great-grandchildren, Cody Bates, Rylee Bates, Savana Bates, Ethan Bates, Georgia Bates, Colton Dixon and Camryn Dunn; Sister, Etheleen Couey of Cleveland. Masonic service will be held at 8 p.m., funeral service to follow Tuesday, April 9, 2013, in the South Chapel, of Bordwine Funeral Home with Pastor Benny Thomas and Pastor Wilford Wright officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, prior to the service. Family and friends will assemble Wednesday, at the funeral home at 10:00 a.m., and proceed to Reliance Cemetery for the 11:00 a.m., committal service. Grant Dunn, Josh Dunn, Kevin Bates, Alan Bates, Carroll Cate and Greg Merrell will serve as pallbearers. Ray Frank, Billy O'Neal, Terry Satterfield, Carson Bain, David Cross, Noah Green, Bruce Wilcox and Doug Lynn will serve as honorary pallbearers.
