Thomas "Darrell" Ratledge, 53, of Etowah, died Thursday, April 21, 2011, at Woods Memorial Hospital. A lifelong resident of McMinn County, he was of the Baptist faith, and was a son of the late Fred "Dick" and Euna V Ratledge. He is preceded in death by his parents, listed above.

Survivors includewife, Kathy Ratledge of Etowah, TN; two daughters, Amy Ratledge of Knoxville, TN and Melissa Freeman of Athens, TN and two grandsons, Anthony and Cordell Freeman, both of Athens, TN.

Funeral services will be 8 p.m. Saturday, April 23rd in the South Chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with the Rev. Curtis Porter officiating.The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday prior to the service. Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home at 10 a.m. Monday, April 25th andwill proceed to Etowah Cemetery for the 11 a.m. committal service. Harold Hutsell, Mark Freeman, Paul Martin, Larry Ratledge, Danny Robison, Glen Riggs and Mark Riggs will service of pallbearers.
