Virginia M. McRae, Long, Dodson, 81 of Etowah, TN passed away Tuesday, May 29, 2018. A daughter of the late Dr. Charles F. and Orene McRae; she was a member of Wesleyanna United Methodist Church and choir member.

Preceded in death by her parents; 1st husband of 27 years, Rev. Robert Ray Long; 2nd husband of 13 years, William Howard Dodson; son, Michael F. Long; twin infant brothers, Bobby Long, Jr. and Gary Long; Karen Long.

Survivors by her 1st husband, son and daughter-in-law, Johnny and Pam Long; daughters and sons-in-law, Rachelle Dora and Robert Allen, Edythe "Edye" Moore and Dale Duckett, Elizabeth and Justin Thomas, Meredith and DeWitt Altman, Glenn Long, Charlotte Panther, Teno Breeden; children by her 2nd husband, Terri Henry, Lolita Matthews and Allan Dodson; grandchildren, Charles and Chris Martin, Brittany Oetting, Koty Moore, Zack Swanson, Austin Burke, Mary Beth, Cherise, David, Julie, Benji, Terry, William, Kenny and Scotty, Natasha, Niki, Bebe, Almyssa, Kaige, Robin, Michelle, Wayne, Dallas, Patrick, Destiny and several others; great-grandchildren, Logan Oetting, Bella Adams, Joseph White, Charles Martin, Jr., Elijah Moore, 24 more great-grandchildren; special friends, Footy, Elaine Colson and mother, Patsy Burger, Kim King, Judy Moore and many more.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday June 2, 2018 in the South Chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with Pastor Wayne Hickman officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Saturday prior to the service. Interment will follow service to McMinn Memory Gardens.
