Virginia Jo Richeson Brock, 83, of Etowah, passed away Friday, January 3, 2014, at Wellington Place, Athens, TN. A native of Rockwood, TN and lived in Etowah most of her life, she was a daughter of the late Tate and Mary "Jack" Richeson. Virginia was a member of North Etowah Baptist Church and preceded in death by her husband, John L. "Brownie" Brock; parents; and sister, Zee Ellen Pickel.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Joellen and Steve Dunkle of Etowah; son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Debbie Brock of Etowah; grandchildren and spouses, Angie and Tim Croft of Etowah, Colby and Kim Dunkle of Englewood, Geoff Brock of Delano, Alix and Justin Belcher of Etowah; great-grandchildren, Dalton Croft, Jake Croft, Gavin Dunkle, Reagan Belcher, and Darcy Belcher; brothers-in-law, Charlie Pickel of Englewood, Bob Brock of Bountiful, UT; sister-in-law, Hap McConkey of Etowah.

Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, January 5, 2014 in Green Hill Cemetery with Layspeaker Dennis Bordwine officiating. No formal visitation will be held.

Grandsons and great-grandsons, Tim Croft, Colby Dunkle, Geoff Brock, Justin Belcher, Dalton Croft, and Jake Croft will serve as pallbearers.
