Wanda Faye Maynard, 67, of Etowah, passed away, Friday, November 14, 2014 at Etowah Health Care Center in Etowah, TN. She was a native of Greenback, a member of Morganton Baptist Church and was retired from the McMinn County School System. She loved yard work and her grandkids. A daughter of Elizabeth Jo Yates and the late Rastas Yates, she was preceded in death by her father, listed above; and her brother, Jimmy Yates. Survivors include her mother, Elizabeth Jo Yates; her best friend and partner, Richard Maynard; brothers, Gary and Tony Yates; son, Mike Maynard; grandson, Chris Maynard; great-grandchildren, Cameron, Caden, Logan, and Brooklyn; lots of friends and family; special friends, Bobby and Jake. Special thanks to all the doctors and hospice.A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, November 17, 2014 at Pine Grove Cemetery in Greenback with Rev. Gene Smith officiating. No formal visitation will be held.
