Wayne B. Collins 90, of Etowah, TN Passed away on Monday, June 3, 2019. He was a son of the late Charles and Dorothy Collins.

Preceded in death by his wife, Catherine Jean Adams Collins; daughter, Jennifer Ann Murphy; brother, Charles Collins; and sister, Aileen Brown.

Wayne served as a Deacon of Unity Baptist Church for several years; he was a retired Truck Driver

Survivors include children and their spouses, Jerry "J.W." and Rhonda Collins of Athens, Steve  and Tena Collins of Athens, Cathy and George Hale of Paint Rock, Debbie and Robert Everhart of Etowah; 13 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; 4 brothers, Bob Collins, Bill Collins, Pete Collins and Jack Collins; several nieces, nephews and other extended family.

Funeral Service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, June 6, 2019 in the chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Latham officiating. Family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday prior to the service. Family and friends will assemble at 10:00 a.m., Friday, June 7 ^th at the funeral home and proceed to Green Hill Cemetery for the 11:00 a.m. committal service.
