Wesley "Leon" Millsaps, age 47 of Riceville, TN passed away Wednesday, September 12, 2017 at Erlanger Medical Center. He was of the Christian faith. Wesley worked as a farmer, a jailor under George Rogers, and a security guard at M&M Mars. He was proud to be a part of the 1989 MCHS football state championship playoff team.
He is preceded in death by his brother, "Buddy" James Jeffrey Millsaps; mother: Geneva Anderson.

Survivors include son: Baylor Rogers; father: Jerry Millsaps; brothers and sisters-in-law: Kyle and Michelle Millsaps, Dustin and Cassie Anderson, Travis and Brittany Anderson; sisters and brother-in-law: Vanessa and Elvis Jerrell, Lina McKinney; step-father: David Anderson and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held Friday, September 15, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. B.J. Wall officiating. Family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday prior to the service. Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 16, 2017 and proceed to Brown Hill Cemetery for the 11:00 a.m. committal service.
