Wilburn Newell Lowe, 87 of Benton went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, October 4, 2016 peacefully at home. He was a son of the late Frank Newell and Ollie Runions Lowe.

Preceded in death by his wife of 40 years, Dorothy Bain Winters Lowe; parents, Frank Newell and Ollie Runions Lowe; sisters, Mozelle Lewis, Velma Kibble and Juanita Prichett.

Survivors include, son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Lisa Lowe of Birchwood, TN; step-son and wife, Danny and Rita Winters of McDonald, TN; step-daughter and husband, Joan and Steve Rogers of Tellico Plains, TN; grandchild, Olivia Lowe; step-grandchildren, Martin Edward Winters, Travis Winters and wife Dee, Danielle and Todd Collins, Justin winters, Rebecca and Rick Richardello; 8 step-great-grandchildren; sisters and brothers-in-law, Geraldine and Jack King of Cleveland, TN, Marilyn and Ben Kirkland of Cleveland, TN; several nieces, nephews and a loving church family.

Funeral service will be held at 8:00 p.m., Thursday, October 6, 2016 in the South Chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with Rev. Pete Morgan and Rev. Charles Bain officiating. Family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday prior to the service. Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home at 10:00 a.m., Friday, October 7, 2016 and proceed to Green Hill Cemetery for the 11:00 a.m. committal service followed with the White Dove Ceremony.
