William "Bill" A. Brown, 90 of Athens, TN passed away Tuesday, May 22, 2018.

He was a son of the late Paul and Rhea Brown.

Retired Fellow Society of Actuaries; He served in the US Navy at the age of 17; TN Tech age of 19, Insurance Company age of 22; graduate school at the University of Iowa at age 23; and Master of Actuarial Science. Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Bonnie Stone Brown; sons and daughter-in-law, W. Steven and Sandra Brown, Thomas P. Brown; grandsons, Zachary, Ethan and Travis P. Brown; great-grandson, Tate. Loving memories remain with the family of a happy generous, kind and loving man who enjoyed life until the last 3 years with dementia.
