William Crofts, 91, of Englewood, passed away, Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at Etowah Health Care Center in Etowah, TN. He was a member of Englewood First Church of God and Manila Masonic Lodge # 633, Englewood. A son of the late Alvin and Theresa Crofts, he was preceded in death by his parents, listed above; and brothers, Ray, John "Jay" and Kenneth Crofts. Survivors include wife of 70 years, Ruth Crofts of Englewood; sons and daughters-in-law, Bill and Cynthia Crofts of Athens, Jim and Vickie Crofts of Smyrna, and Scott Crofts of Englewood; grandchildren, Shae Tuggle, Tanya Hamilton, Caycie Crofts, James Woodeson, Christian, Josiah, Ben, Matthew, Caleb, Rebekah, and Charis Crofts.; great-grandchildren, Peyton Woodeson, Hunter and Brant Sutherland, Tyler Peeler, and Dalton Merrill; sisters and brother-in-law, Myrtle McConkey and Mildred Lane both of Madisonville.Masonic service will be held at 8:00 p.m., Friday, August 1, 2014 in the South Chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow. Pastor Roy Chism will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, prior to the service. Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home at 9:00 a.m., Saturday, August 2, 2014 and proceed to Chestua Methodist Cemetery for the 10:00 a.m., committal service.
