William Darel Hicks, 63, of Delano, TN, passed away Monday, July 30, 2012, at his residence. A native of Polk County and a member of Towee Church. Preceded in death by his grandparents, Claude and Etta Hicks. Survivors include his wife, Geraldine Hicks of Delano, TN; Mother and step father, Mary and Vernie Taylor of Cleveland, TN; Brother, Steve Taylor; Aunt, Betty Edmonson; and Uncles, L.A. Hicks and Frankie Hicks; Several cousins. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 1, 2012 in the South Chapel, of Bordwine Funeral Home with Rev. Pete Morgan officiating. Interment to follow service at Campground Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 31, 2012, in the South Chapel.
