William "Willie" Moore Hammond, age 66, of Delano, passed away Tuesday, April 19, 2011, at NHC Healthcare in Athens TN. He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Laster Hammond. He attended Liberty Church of Jesus Christ in Athens, a graduate of McMinn Co. High School and wasa dairy farmer for many years. Survivors include his wife: Bonita Seymour Hammond, children and spouses: Keith and Kim Hammond, Allen and Darlene Hammond, Norman and Beth Hammond, Todd and Kathy Belcher, and Scotty and Angie Belcher. Grandchildren: Brendan Hammond, Brianna Hammond, Brooke Hammond, Brady Hammond, Lane Hammond, Justin and Alix Belcher, Ashley and Travis Askew, Michael and Nicole Belcher, Brittany Belcher and Ambra Belcher. Great grandchildren: Raegan Belcher and Leland Belcher. Brothers and sisters-in-law: H.L. and Temple Hammond, Carlos and Jackie Hammond, Marvin and Rose Hammond, and Leon and Carol Hammond. Sister: Martha Hammond. Funeral service will be 2:00 Saturday, April 23, 2011 in the south chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home. Family will receive friends from 12:00 until 2:00 Saturday prior to the service. Interment will follow at McMinn Memory Gardens.
